Where We Come From,
Why We Do This Work

Built on the Belief That Good Decisions Are Learnable

Stratiq was founded in Bangkok in 2016 by a small group of strategists who had spent years working inside large organisations — and who kept noticing the same pattern. Talented leadership teams, under genuine pressure, making decisions in fragmented or opaque ways that left value on the table and eroded trust within the organisation.

The founding premise was straightforward: decision quality can be improved through structure, and that structure can be taught, practised, and embedded. Not through top-down mandates, but through careful facilitation and genuine engagement with the people doing the work.

Since then, we've expanded our work to include competitive intelligence and partnership development — areas where the same disciplined, evidence-based approach turns out to be equally valuable. Today, Stratiq operates from our offices in Bang Rak, serving clients across Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian market.

Our Mission

To improve the quality of consequential decisions made by leadership teams — through structured frameworks, honest analysis, and work that respects the complexity of real organisations.

Our Vision

A business landscape in Southeast Asia where organisations navigate uncertainty with clarity rather than anxiety — because they've built the internal capacity to think well under pressure.

Our Approach

We take the time to understand before advising. Every engagement begins with listening — to leadership, to the organisation's history, and to what's actually at stake. We then work collaboratively rather than handing down recommendations from a distance.

The Team Behind Stratiq

A small, experienced team with backgrounds across strategy, finance, and organisational development. We remain deliberately small — it keeps us sharp and keeps our client relationships personal.

How We Maintain the Quality of Our Work

Confidentiality Protocol

Every engagement begins with a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Client information is handled with strict discretion and never used for any purpose outside the agreed scope of work.

Evidence-Based Analysis

Our work is grounded in primary research, structured interviews, and verified data sources. We avoid speculation and clearly differentiate between what we know and what we're inferring.

Continuous Professional Development

Our team regularly participates in international consulting and strategy forums. We maintain affiliations with the Strategy & Innovation Institute (Bangkok) and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council.

Structured Client Feedback

Each engagement closes with a structured debrief. We gather candid feedback on process, deliverables, and outcomes — and use it to improve. Client satisfaction is reviewed formally at the end of every project.

Ethical Practice Standards

We adhere to the ethical guidelines of the International Association of Management Consultants (ICMCI). Conflicts of interest are disclosed proactively, and we decline engagements where independence cannot be maintained.

Data Privacy Compliance

Stratiq complies with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in all data handling. Client data is stored securely, retained only as long as necessary, and never transferred to third parties without explicit consent.

The Principles That Guide Our Work

Stratiq operates in a field where advice is easy to give and hard to evaluate. Our response to that challenge is to take the quality of our own thinking very seriously — and to remain honest about the boundaries of what we know. When a leadership team places trust in us, we treat that as a meaningful responsibility, not a commercial transaction.

We believe that good consulting is collaborative rather than directive. The most durable outcomes come from organisations that understand their own situation more deeply — not from those who have simply followed an external recommendation. Our methods are designed to build internal capacity alongside delivering immediate value.

Thailand's business environment has its own rhythms, relationship norms, and institutional context. Our work reflects that — we don't apply frameworks designed for European or American organisations and expect them to translate without adaptation. Cultural and contextual sensitivity is built into how we listen, how we design workshops, and how we present findings.

Finally, we value restraint. We don't pursue engagements beyond our genuine area of competence. We're a focused practice and we intend to stay that way. If a potential client would be better served by a different type of consultancy, we'll say so — and if we can, point them in the right direction.
